On behalf of the organising committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 23rd MSR-SSR 2025, themed “Personalised Care in Rheumatology: A Leap Into the Future”. This highly anticipated event will take place from the 4th to 6th of July 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City, Malaysia.

As healthcare continues to advance, the concept of personalised care has emerged as a cornerstone in ensuring better outcomes for our patients. This year’s theme reflects our commitment to embracing innovative strategies and cutting-edge research that will revolutionise rheumatology care and practice.

This workshop is a unique collaboration between the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology and the Singapore Society of Rheumatology that has began since 1998. This tradition collaborative event serves as a platform for professionals, researchers, and experts from around the region to come together, share insights, and foster new partnerships to push the boundaries of rheumatology.

We are also excited to announce pre-congress workshops designed to enrich the experience of attendees. These include:

A specialised TUI Ultrasound Workshop, offering hands-on training ultrasound in Rheumatology for diagnostic and interventional purposes.

Workshops for allied health professionals, who are our back-bone in Rheumatology, is focusing on practical skills and the essential roles played by allied health teams in delivering personalised rheumatology care.

These pre-congress workshops aim to provide valuable, practical learning opportunities and equip participants with cutting-edge tools to enhance their clinical practice.

Our carefully curated main programme will feature esteemed speakers, interactive workshops, and thought-provoking discussions aimed at enhancing clinical practice and addressing the challenges of modern-day rheumatology.
